firstAir is one of the product brands of ESSENCE (under Fusheng Group). The 12 models listed on this site are all screw air compressors, divided into four directions by technology path and application. For buyers, seeing these four directions clearly first and then choosing models in the corresponding category is easier than leafing through specification tables one by one.

The Four Directions and Model Distribution

• PM VSD screw air compressors (6): FASM, FPM, FASV-M, FASV+-MA, FASV and FAS, covering VSD air supply in the general pressure range;
• Two-stage screw air compressors (2): FPM+-T and FASV+-TMA, aimed at higher power and higher efficiency;
• Laser cutting air compressors (2): FASM-16, FASM-16F and FAS-16F, working pressure 1.6 MPa;
• Engineering and low pressure air compressors (2): the FSG Series and FSL Series, for engineering sites and low-pressure high-flow processes respectively.

Pressure and Power Ranges Covered

firstAir models span three pressure steps: engineering and low-pressure models at 0.3–0.45 MPa, general PM VSD models at 0.7–1.25 MPa, and laser cutting models at 1.6 MPa. Power extends from 7.5 kW to 355 kW, with air delivery covering 0.3–73.00 m³/min. Whether it is low pressure with high flow or high pressure with low flow, a matching series can be found within the brand, without having to combine across brands.

How to Read the Model Names

Most firstAir series names begin with F: FASM, FPM, FASV and FAS belong to the PM VSD direction, FSG and FSL to the engineering and low pressure direction, models with the -16 suffix correspond to 1.6 MPa laser cutting duty, and suffixes such as T and MA distinguish model configurations. The specific models and specifications of each series can be viewed model by model on the corresponding category page.

Selection Approach

1. First determine the true working pressure of the process, then lock onto the corresponding direction by pressure range;
2. Choose PM VSD where demand fluctuates greatly, and evaluate two-stage compression for high-power continuous operation;
3. On engineering sites, prefer air cooling and coupling drive, and size low-pressure processes by high flow;
4. For laser cutting, determine air delivery by the number of machines and air volume, and plan air treatment at the same time.
