Fusheng FPF Precision Filter: 1-80 m³/min Capacity

At the end of the air system, the filter plays the role of the last checkpoint. Compressed air leaving the compressor carries moisture, oil mist, dust and pipe rust, and if these impurities enter pneumatic components or instruments directly, or come into contact with products, they at best wear equipment and block nozzles, and at worst contaminate materials and cause batch defects.

1. The FPF Specification Range

The Fusheng FPF precision filter covers a capacity of 1–80 m³/min, with connection sizes from Rc 1/2 to Rc 1-1/2, matching filter elements including L010, L020, L048 and L072, and representative models FPF010, FPF020, FPF048 and FPF072. Model, connection and filter element correspond one to one, so a suitable specification can be found from single-machine air supply to centralized supply.

2. Filter Precision Is Not a Case of Higher Being Better

Precision filters are graded by precision, but finer is not always better; they should be matched to the need and configured in stages. If only one high-precision element is used, it will quickly be blocked by large particles and liquid oil and water, pressure drop will rise rapidly and its life will fall sharply; catching large particles and a large amount of liquid water with a coarser first stage, then checking with a precision stage, gives better filter element life and system pressure loss.

3. Selection and Use Advice

  1. First define the cleanliness the air must reach, and determine the number of filtration stages accordingly;
  2. Match the model by capacity and connection, and keep the connection consistent with the piping to avoid extra reducers;
  3. Use staged filtration rather than a single precision stage;
  4. Take filter element replacement cost into account; specifications that are easy to buy and easy to change are less trouble.

Conclusion

A filter is often inconspicuous in the air system, yet it is often the first place a problem shows up. Guarding the last checkpoint well usually costs far less than the equipment repair and product losses caused by contaminated air.
