Fusheng Air Treatment: Filtration, Drying and Condensate

Compressed air is not clean as it leaves the compressor — moisture, oil mist, dust and rust particles travel downstream with the airflow. Fusheng offers 7 compressed air treatment products, divided by function into filtration, drying and condensate drainage, forming a complete chain of air treatment.

1. Overview of the Three Categories

FunctionEquipmentCapacityPurpose
FiltrationFPF precision filter1–80 m³/minTraps particles, oil mist and liquid water
DryingFSR refrigerated dryer8.5–90 m³/minRefrigerated water removal
DryingFSD heatless / micro-heat regeneration dryer1.2–90 m³/minAdsorption type, lower dew point
DryingFRD combined dryer1.2–90 m³/minRefrigeration plus adsorption, air-cooled or water-cooled
DryingFDL desiccant dryer0.68–31.43 m³/minChemical adsorption, dew point -40 / -70 °C
DrainageFA automatic drain valve1.5–1700 m³/minDischarges condensate automatically by level

2. How to Configure the Air Treatment Chain

The common sequence is: air from the compressor passes through the air receiver first, then filtration and drying, and finally precision filtration at the point of use. The closer to the point of use, the higher the precision. Filters handle particles and oil, dryers handle moisture, and drain devices ensure condensate does not accumulate in the system — each does its own job, and none can be left out.

3. Selection Points

  1. First define the point-of-use requirements for dew point, oil content and dust content, and decide the number of drying and filtration stages accordingly;
  2. Choose the drying method by dew point: refrigerated drying is enough for general air supply, and where a lower dew point is required, use adsorption or combined drying;
  3. Configure filtration in successive coarse-to-fine stages, avoiding a single precision stage being blocked by large particles and losing its life quickly.

Conclusion

Air quality is not solved by a single device. Configure filtration, drying and drainage as a complete three-step chain, and many downstream problems of corrosion, sticking and product contamination can actually be avoided from the start.
