More and more plants are finding that the location of the compressor station is a cost in itself. The noise forces a separate compressor room; the room is far from the point of use, the piping is long, and pressure loss and leaks follow. So can the compressor be put on the shop floor has become the first question in many retrofit projects.
The Fusheng SAV08-75AI Series intelligent PM VSD screw air compressor is aimed at exactly this need. Built around a vertical all-in-one structure, PM VSD drive and ultra Grade-1 efficiency, it covers 7.5-75 kW of power, 0.34-13.8 m³/min of air delivery and 0.7-0.8 MPa of working pressure, putting efficient and quiet into one machine.
Fixed-speed compressors adjust air volume by loading and unloading: when demand is low the motor still runs at full speed and the excess air is vented, wasting that electricity. The SAV08-75AI uses PM VSD drive, with speed continuously adjusted to actual air demand — producing exactly what is used — cutting no-load waste at the source.
Combined with an ultra-low specific power design, it converts as much of each kilowatt-hour as possible into usable air delivery. For plants that run continuously and are sensitive to electricity cost, this saving accumulates with running hours.
A PM motor is efficient, but heat is its weak point — excessive temperature causes demagnetisation, and efficiency and reliability fall with it. The SAV08-75AI uses a strongly oil-cooled PM motor that carries heat away through an oil circuit, keeping the motor in a more suitable temperature range for longer life and more stable running. This design directly answers the common concern about whether PM machines tolerate high temperatures.
This machine separates its hot and cold compartments structurally: every component runs at a suitable temperature, cooling is effective and operating noise is greatly reduced.
This is not a small point. Separating hot and cold zones means intake air and hot air do not interfere, internal temperature rise is more controllable, and both electrical components and oil life benefit; and with lower noise, the machine can be installed right at the point of use rather than in a room set aside for it. Shorter piping, lower pressure loss and fewer leak points are the knock-on benefits of being able to place it close.
The vertical all-in-one design integrates the airend, motor and other core components into a compact upright body: the footprint is small, which suits space-constrained workshops; internal piping is integrated, reducing external connection points; and the service face is concentrated, making routine maintenance easier. For plants that adjust production lines often, this means the air supply can move with the line.

Putting an air compressor on the shop floor is not just moving the machine somewhere else but a combined test of noise, heat dissipation and energy efficiency. The SAV08-75AI answers all of these at once with PM VSD, hot/cold compartment separation and a vertical all-in-one structure. As nearby air supply becomes the trend, it offers a ready-made answer.
| Superior Cooling | The hot and cold compartments are separated so all components operate at a suitable temperature, improving cooling performance while substantially reducing operating noise. |
